It all started with four vegan girls on the hunt for a vegan pumpkin spice latte. When they discovered that every other coffee shop aside from Starbucks offers a vegan PSL, the basic vegan bitch was born. Soon after @basicveganbitch launched her YouTube channel and needed a catchy logo. She combined her favorite emoji with the most iconic brand for every basic B to create the perfect parody. Calling yourself a basic vegan means you embrace the simple things in life—vegan PSLs, organic scented candles, fall leaves, faux fur uggs. And then there's the simple hope that one day Starbucks will actually veganize the infamous PSL.
